iPhone 13 Rumours
Posted by Ryan Westcott on
Among the smartphone brands of present times, Apple iPhones are the most preferred smartphones with offering a varied technologically advanced feature. Although there has been an upsurge in mobile phone brand, however nothing could beat iPhone. Nevertheless, iPhones continue evolving and redefining industry standards.
Like every year, iPhone will be unveiling a new phone this year too, with the iPhone 13 being one of the most eagerly awaited smartphones in 2021. Although the manufacturer has not officially confirmed anything, however a few rumors are surfacing the internet.
Here are some common rumors that are found online.
- Four sizes
Since the introduction of Apple iPhone 6 series, Apple has kept the trend of introducing more than one model. They majorly differ in terms of their sizes. The iPhone 13 series is rumored to be released with four models in different sizes.
The different models will have 5.4 inches, 6.1 inches, and 6.7 inches displays. Two models ought to have the 6.1 inches display, keeping the 2020 line of models.
- 120Hz ProMotion displays
Although initially rumored to be featured with the iPhone 12 series, the 120Hz ProMotion display is regarded as one of the best key features of the new 2021 iterations of the American smartphone manufacturing giant.
This is possible only with the help of LTPO display technology. Besides, at least two models in the series will have a low-power LTPO backplane technology, thus not compromising on the battery life.
- No ports
Apple long dreamt of having no ports or connectors to give its devices an even look. The rumour is a likely reality as apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, in 2019, commented that Apple would offer a completely wireless experience with its 2021 iPhone.
Wireless charging is the only plausible solution for this.
- 5G chipset
After introducing the Snapdragon x60 3rd generation 5G modem by Qualcomm in February of 2020, there is no surprise that iPhone will release its 5G-enabled models in 2021. The rumors say that the iPhone 2021 models will have x65 and x70 chipsets to make their devices future-proof.
- Minor improvements in the cameras
As per an Apple analyst Ming-chi Kuo, we cannot expect to see a massive upgrade until at least 2022. Therefore, only minor tweaks are expected in the 2021 line-up. Besides, better performance and software improvements are the least things we can expect. The camera bump, which is a disappointment for many, is likely to remain though.
- On-screen fingerprint sensor
The in-screen fingerprint sensor is one of the biggest surprises for many smartphone enthusiasts. It was seen in smartphones even with the starting price point. Apple, too, is rumored to have incorporated the technology in its 2021 iPhone iterations.
The Apple iPhone has continued to redefine the smartphone industry’s standards. Last year, Apple released astounding four models, and the legacy is likely to be continued ahead. All the models in the series will witness varied modifications in terms of their camera, network connectivity, software improvements, and more. Additionally, features such as 120Hz refresh rates for the screen and port less connectivity are rumored to be released.
